Alzheimer’s Society Devon Dementia Support Service
The Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Support workers offer information and practical guidance to help people understand dementia, cope with day-to-day challenges and prepare for the future. They offer support face to face, over the phone or in writing.
The local service is for people with dementia and their carers, family and friends following a dementia diagnosis.

Dementia Carers’ Pathways
‘Carers’ Pathways’, is a not for profit organisation supporting carers in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset – often through Memory, Dementia & Alzheimer’s Cafes. It was set up to help and inform not only those who have been diagnosed with an illness that might lead to dementia, but also their carers. Click here for more information.

Working dementia carers are a significant but generally invisible group. Awareness and understanding of dementia alongside dementia carer support benefits the organisation, carers and colleagues.
