Dementia Friendly Showings at Exeter Picturehouse

The first dementia friendly screenings took place at Exeter Picturehouse during Dementia Awareness Week

The screening was Calamity Jane and over 90 attended to reminisce, enjoy a great social trip out in the City’s atmospheric cinema.

Exeter Picturehouse continues their programme of dementia-friendly showings during June and August.

The showings are particularly aimed at people living with dementia and care partners, and include free tea, coffee and biscuits and a 20 minute interval.
